2012-2013 Fees

1. Registration Fees for New Students (Non-refundable)

Pre-Kindergarten: $1,500
Kindergarten to Grade 12: $6,500 (Ask about our special discounted registration fees when transferring from another school in Ghana.)

The Registration fee is a onetime, non-refundable payment for all new students ONLY and must be paid in full at the time of admission before a student may be allowed to start classes. On entry, students in Pre-Kindergarten pay an initial registration fee of US$1,500; the balance of US$5,000 becomes payable when the student advances to Kindergarten. Parents registering more than two children are entitled to a registration discount of 50% after the second child.

2. Annual Tuition Fees for all Students

Pre-Kindergarten: $11,800
Kindergarten: $16,500
Grades 1 - 5: $16,950
Grades 6 - 8: $18,100
Grades 9 and 10: $19,100
Grades 11 and 12: $19,950

3. Capital Levy for all Returning Students

All returning students are billed a Capital levy of US$850 per annum.

4. Fee Payment Schedule and Guidelines

A reservation fee of US $500 (which is a part of the first semester tuition fees) is required of all returning students to ensure placement in the following year. Payment must be received by the School by April 1 of each year. First semester fees including full payment of Capital levy become due on June 1 of each year; second semester fees become due by October 1 of each year.

All fees are quoted in US dollars; payment of fees may be made in either US dollars or in Ghana cedis at a rate of exchange to be advised by the Business office. Fees may be paid by personal checks, direct deposit into the School’s accounts, or wire transfer to any of the accounts listed below. Checks should be made payable to Lincoln Community School. Students may be excluded from classes until payment is confirmed by the Business office. Any checks which are returned unpaid will be subject to a penalty payment of US $100.

In the case of a direct deposit or wire transfer, please provide a copy of the deposit slip or transfer authorization to the Business office for a receipt. All wire transfer instructions must include the name of the student. All transfer and collection charges will be passed on to parents and/or sponsors.

5. Late Payment Penalties

Each semester's fees outstanding after the first day of school will attract an interest payment of 2% per month.
