This year five Mathletes competed in "The Solve-A-Thon Math Competition" held at Galaxy International School, East Legon, Accra, Ghana on the 8th of April. This program is founded by Prof. Francis Allotey, Chairman of MISE Foundation and is held every year in Ghana.
The Solve-A-Thon is an exciting mathematical problem solving competition for 13 -17 year-old students in Ghana (irrespective of nationality). It enriches the Mathematical & Science education of several talented students annually and provides an excellent opportunity to develop problem solving skills, get tournament experience and an opportunity to represent Ghana at the International Math Olympiad. Three Cheers to Aryan Seth (grade 8), Aurel Ersek (grade 7), Arnav Nambiar (grade 8), Rijul Gupta (grade 9) & Aayush Agarwal (grade 11) who took up the challenge to compete with over 100 students from all over Ghana. They applied their problem solving skills and brought back accolades for the school. A huge "Thank you" to their Parents and Teachers to get them ready for this event.
