Fred Apaloo: LCS Class 2008
Born and raised in Accra, Fred Apaloo , class of '08, spent six years at LCS from 6th grade-12th.Being the middle child of three boys, his parents recognized in him an independent and inquisitive streak that they felt Lincoln would know how to best nurture. In Fred's words, LCS's unique focus on student individuality and whole-child development encouraged him to become the successful entrepreneur he is today.
After graduation from LCS, Fred went to Lynn University in Florida where he got his undergraduate degree in Hospitality Management, then he continued at the university for an MA in Marketing. After graduating, he spent two years in Miami working for Mariott Hotels before deciding to return to Ghana with a desire to launch a new kind of business in Accra. Fred launched Villa Grace, a catering service with a unique concept. Villa Grace not only serves delicious cuisine, but creates an unforgettable experience, In Fred's words " Villa Grace is a boutique catering service, where a story and a journey is created." His most challenging event: catering for 50 when Facebook Chief Product Officer, Chris Cox, visited Accra.
