ALUMNUS RENE CHOSTNER

Currently based in California, Rene Chostner (Eunsook Do) has many fond memories of when she attended LCS from 1990-1993. Her parents chose Lincoln Community School because they wanted a school that followed the American school system and had excellent faculty and facilities. This was clearly the right choice which reflected in her education as she shared that in her time at LCS, she learned and developed a lot.

Rene recalls being part of such a diverse and multicultural community which prepared her for her subsequent schools and university as she learned to thrive in an international student body. Her time at LCS also helped her to develop her passions. Rene shared, "I care deeply about inclusivity and the environment thanks to my education at LCS." And, she is passionate about "uprooting discrimination".

During her time as a Lincoln Learner, preparing for the school play, "You Can't Take It With You" was one of her fondest memories.

She continues to stay in touch with former classmates via Facebook and emphasizes to others that staying connected through school networks is important.

Today, Ms. Chostner drives venture investments at SK hynix (a South Korean semiconductor company), based in San Jose, CA, USA.

Thank you, Rene, for making impactful contributions towards a truly inclusive world!
