The LCS campus houses elementary, middle and high school libraries, collectively known as The HUB, that feature ample space for studying, collaborating and teaching. Each library offers students, staff, parents and the greater LCS community access to both electronic and print resources to support their curiosity and learning endeavors.
LCS Library Mission
The mission of the Lincoln Community School Library is to provide a resource-rich, caring, and supportive environment that promotes personal and academic success, empowering students to become effective users of information, lovers of reading, and productive members of a global society.
Library Program Overview
The libraries are open before and after school and during lunch, and students are encouraged to seek assistance from the library staff in pursuing their own knowledge and supporting their development of academic research, as well as their selection of books for their free reading programs.
We support the greater LCS community through modeling our mission of “Learn, Lead, and Connect”, which takes both the personal and academic needs of the staff and students into consideration. At the PYP, MYP and DP divisions, we work closely with the administration, staff and students to support the curriculum and divisional program projects.
The LCS library staff invites you to stop by and learn more about our space and services between the hours of 7:30-4:30, Monday – Friday, and to visit the following links to learn more about what the LCS Library offers.
