Welcome to Secondary School

Welcome to the 2026-27 academic year! I am truly excited to start this new chapter with our community.  I believe that excellent schools provide more than just academic rigor; they extend students while ensuring they learn in an environment of belonging, kindness, and emotional balance.

Our secondary program is built on the belief that students and teachers collaborate in innovative and challenging classes where growth comes from taking risks and reflecting on the process.  At LCS, learning is a holistic endeavor that flourishes not only in the classroom but through experiential learning, after-school activities, and community engagement projects that develop vital communication and problem-solving skills.

I am passionate about directly supporting this journey, whether I am supervising an Extended Essay, joining a classroom trip, or simply playing ball at recess.  I value transparency, careful listening, and seeking common ground as we work toward our shared purpose.

We are all continuously developing as individuals, and I look forward to the many opportunities we will have on our learning journey.
