  • LCS celebrates its 50th anniversary
    • Anniversary fabric designed by the Class of 2022 students and voted for by the community.
2019
  • Reaccredited by the Middle States Association (MSA)
  • The first scholarship student graduated.

New Mission, Vision & Values officially launched.

2021
  • Opening of Akyԑdeԑ
  • Granted full license to operate as a school in Ghana by the National Schools Inspectorate Authority.
  • 1st senior lounge granted to seniors.

Purchase of adjoining land

  • New logo launched
  • New constitution approved by the parent community at the AGM in May
  • LCS celebrates its 55th anniversary
    • Anniversary Fabric designed by long-term staff members and voted for by the community.

  • Opening of Nilee building on the ‘new’ land, with the secondary school  Library on the ground floor and the finance team housed on the top floor.
  • Completion of Akyԑdeԑ basement spaces, named Eke
  • Opening of the Maker Space
  • Updating of older classrooms to reflect modern practices.
  • Purchase of second and third adjoining plot of land.
  • Re-Accredited by CIS, MSA & IB.
2025
  • Reworking of Nilee to create support services suite
  • Leaving West Campus.
  • Opening of the LCS Sankofa art gallery, including student and staff collaborative paintings of the West Campus.
  • Nilee grounds developed into the new Nkomode, NPAT, and a small multipurpose court.
  • Updating of the MPH changing Rooms.
2026
  • Repainting the Lion Mural of the elementary playground
  • Making a Home of the Lions Mural in the MPH
  • Welcome the 1 LOVE LCS Signage
  • Creating the College Pennant display cabinet
  • Refurbishment of the swimming pool.
  • Launched the new LCS Program including new therapy spaces in the Akyede building
