The Lincoln Community School Summer Program is a 6-week program (broken down into three 2-week sessions), which starts from mid-June to the end of July. The program is open to LCS children, alumni children, and non LCS children ages 6 years to 16 years.
The Summer Program is open from Monday to Friday, from 9-3pm. Students may attend any preferred session; weekly options are also available.
Activities offered include (but not limited to) Basketball, Ceramics, Floor Hockey, Art & Crafts, Drawing/Painting, Library/Reading, Dance, Soccer, Table Tennis, Computer Fun, Origami and Swimming. All activities take place on LCS campus.
It’s advised to dress students in play clothing, as they will be involved in play and sporting activities throughout the day.
Field Trips: There will be a field trip planned for each session. Venues for field trips include, Marvels Mini Golf, Aburi Gardens, Boti Falls, Historical Sites around Accra, Legon Botanical Gardens and Akosombo etc. Parent permission is required for students to participate in field trips.
