Graduation 2021: Congratulations

LCS Graduation 2021 was a joy-filled evening. On Saturday, May 29 at the Kempinski Gold Coast City Hotel, Accra, the class of 2021 celebrated their graduation. Student speaker and graduate, Andrew Nasr addressed his classmates, and the families, friends, and honored guests with sincerity.

“This class of 2021 is full of incredible people who have developed a remarkable kinship by supporting and motivating each other every step of the way. We are truly a unique group who have survived turbulent times and overcame the challenges thrown at us. It has been a life-changing experience.”

To say the least, the class of LCS Survivors did that and more.

Graduating senior and student speaker, Yamini Coomar, shared, “It was an unpredictable journey but despite our senior year being filled with uncertainty and having obstacles nobody could have ever predicted, being thrown our way, we were able to rise above it all and here we are all done and ready to take the next step.”

Co-Salutatorians, Sandeepa Das and Hanisah Iddrisu, focused on the significance of appreciation. Together they shared, “We want to start by honoring and appreciating the class of 2021 for their hard work, determination and perseverance.”

Valedictorian, Veenaa Agrawal asked the audience to picture home. Continuing her address, she asked, “Now, I want all of you to please close your eyes and picture home once again. Instead of picturing a place, however, I want you to think of the people, the characteristics, the lessons that truly make your home.” Class of 2021, your LCS home will miss you.

Well done, class of 2021. You certainly have a lot to celebrate. Best wishes to you!
